November Home Court Hero Presentation- 11/27/07
Kapco President Jim Kacmarcik Milwaukee Bucks Desmond Mason and Jake Voskuhl are honoring November’s Kapco’s Home Court Hero Recipients, Brother Dave, Larry Ampe and Daniel Watson of St. Ben’s Community Meal Program. As the Milwaukee Bucks celebrate their 40th Anniversary, we would like to honor our neighbor as they celebrate their 37th year of offering community meals for the homeless, working poor and other needy members of our community. During those 37 years, more than 100,0000 meals have been served with an average of 375 each evening 6 days a week. More than 75 sponsor groups representing different religions and churches prepare, transport and serve meals each month. Guests are treated with dignity and respect. They leave with a feeling of hope, that in their darkest hour, their brothers and sisters have not forgotten them. St. Ben’s Community Meal program is a ministry of the Capuchin Order- working with the poor, disenfranchised and needy providing them with basic human needs, spiritual support and hope. The Milwaukee Bucks and Kapco congratulate St. Ben’s Community Meal program- November’s Home Court Hero. The Milwaukee Bucks thank Kapco for supporting Home Court Heroes. For Kapco there is no single greater reward than giving back to the community. Kapco…making people our priority!
