Home Court Hero Presentation- 4/8/09
Kapco, along with Milwaukee Bucks player Luc Richard Mbah A Moute, are honoring the Apri 8, 2009 Kapco Home Court Hero Recipient – THE PRINCETON CLUB CPR HERO GROUP. All in eight minutes on January 12, 2009...an emergency page comes over the intercom at The Princeton Club in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Club member Mark Schmaling lies on the ground, unresponsive. Four people with lifesaving skills run to help and administer shocks from an AED unit, CPR and oxygen while the receptionist dials 9-1-1. Mark's pulse returns and he survives, thanks to club staff trained with life-saving skills and an AED - Automated External Defibrillator. This group of trained responders are true heroes for saving Mark's life. According to Nowak, "Everyone says you are a hero, but I was just doing my job."
